The Guide

How to actually know yourself.

A short, honest guide to what Myselfish is, why it feels different from the personality tests you've taken before, and how to use it for fun, calm, accurate self-discovery.

Why this exists

You are not a four-letter code.

Most personality tests flatten you into a label and then disappear. Myselfish is built around a different idea: you are layered, contradictory, evolving - and the only test worth taking is one that gives that back to you in a way that feels alive.

Every map is a short, cinematic conversation with yourself. Five to seven minutes. No signup. No paywall. You answer honestly, and your Atlas grows one layer at a time - visible self, hidden self, stress self, online self, shadow, archetype.

How it works

Three minutes to start. A lifetime of layers.

Pick any map. Personality, attachment, shadow, archetype, online identity, relationship blueprint - there are more than 40 to explore. Each one asks 15-25 emotionally precise questions written like a thoughtful friend, not a clipboard.

When you finish, you get a result that reads like a portrait: your archetype name, an emotional summary, a radar of your traits, the contradiction at the centre of you, your strengths and blind spots, and a few next maps that will sharpen the picture.

Why it's fun

Self-discovery should feel like a good film, not homework.

We obsessed over the words. Every archetype is named like a character (Hyperaware Observer, Rational Romantic, Soft Strategist). Every line is written to make you smile, pause, or text it to a friend. The maps work as well at 11pm with a glass of wine as they do on a Sunday morning with coffee.

Share your archetype card. Compare with a partner. Stack a few maps in one evening and watch the picture sharpen. It's the rare kind of fun that also makes you a little wiser about yourself.

Why it's accurate

Built on real psychology - written like literature.

Underneath the cinematic language is a serious scoring system. We map ten core traits - introversion, analytical thinking, intuition, perception, warmth, ambition, independence, avoidance, control, taste - and combine them across maps to triangulate who you are, not what one questionnaire guessed.

We don't diagnose. We don't pathologize. We don't sell you a label. We give you a mirror - one that gets clearer every time you add a layer.

How to use the Atlas

A simple way to actually go deeper.

  1. Start with the Personality map. It anchors everything.
  2. Add Attachment and Shadow within the same week. These three together make most patterns visible.
  3. Save your Atlas to keep your evolving portrait in one place.
  4. Open Coach when something specific is on your mind. It speaks to you using your Atlas, not a generic prompt.
  5. Return every few weeks. You change. The Atlas should change with you.
